My name is Mrs. Andrea Jones, I serve as the lead counselor here at NS10. I am committed to motivating and supporting students. I received my Masters of Counseling at Prairie View A&M University, which gave me valuable insights and expertise in guiding students toward success in their educational and personal journeys.
My compassion, dedication, and attentive listening skills help me to build strong relationships with students, understand their needs, and provide the support and guidance they require to thrive academically, emotionally, socially, and personally. Always remember the golden rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Angie Cruz
My name is Mrs. Angie Cruz, I am a counselor at NS10. This is my sixth year as a school counselor and my 19th year in education, which have all been in ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ. I was born and raised in the North Shore area and received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Houston- Downtown, followed by a Masters of Education in School Counseling at Lamar University.
As a school counselor, I support students' academic, emotional, and personal/social needs. I believe it is important to provide support in all areas to assist our students in becoming productive and resilient students in the community. Education is important and I am here to help support our students in their journey to success.

Lola Johnson
Hello, my Marvelous Mustangs!
My name is Lola Johnson, I am a counselor here at NS10. This is my third year as a school counselor and my 13th year in education. I received my bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry from Texas Southern University, followed by a Master of Education in School Counseling at the University of St. Thomas.
As a dedicated guidance counselor, my primary mission is to guide and support students in their educational and personal development journeys. Using open communication, active listening, and a collaborative approach, I empower students to overcome challenges, set meaningful goals, and develop the skills necessary for their personal and academic growth.
My role encompasses academic advising, career exploration, and social-emotional support, allowing me to assist students in making informed decisions about their academic pursuits and future aspirations. My passion for education and my unwavering belief in each student's potential drive my work as a guidance counselor, fostering an environment where students can thrive and reach their fullest potential.
