Will I need to provide OFFICIAL transcripts from all colleges/universities I've attended?
Official transcripts can be e-scripted or mailed directly to the HR department. They can also be dropped off in-person as long as they are in a sealed envelope.

If I am hired as an instructional aide/paraprofessional, am I required to provide transcripts?
If you have an Associate's Degree or at least 48 college hours, you will need to submit an official transcript to be exempt from further testing requirements.
If you do not have any college hours, you will need to submit a high school diploma or GED. Additionally, you will need to pass an exam covering basic math, reading, and writing skills. This exam will be scheduled with you directly through our HR Department.

If have worked in a school district before, do I need to submit service records?
Yes. To ensure your pay is accurate based on your job experience, it is important you submit official service records from your previous school district employer.
Failure to submit this documentation could affect your pay.
If you have never worked in a school district before, you do not need to submit service records.

May I bring a copy of my social security card if I can't find the original card?
No. You must present an original social security card.
You may also provide a receipt for a replacement social security card, but must present the replacement card within 2 weeks.
Hiring Process

What are the hiring process steps?
- Interview
- If selected, Principal or Hiring Manager will notify the candidate and hiring will be contingent on references and background check.
- Principal or Hiring Manager will contact HR to initiate the hiring process.
- Candidate receives a "Welcome" email from the HR Department with an offer to accept or decline the position.
- Once the acceptance is received, candidate will receive a second email with a link to complete "New Hire" paperwork.
- Candidate must complete "New Hire" paperwork. This must be done on a computer or laptop. It cannot be completed on a mobile device.
- After New Hire paperwork is complete, you'll receive a final confirmation email with important information.

When will I receive my contract to sign?
Contracts are only issued to Teachers and Professional employees.
You can expect your contract within 30 days of submitting your completed new hire paperwork.

How do I know what my salary will be?
Teachers should refer to the Teacher Step Schedule to determine step and corresponding salary.
Other candidates will receive a salary offer letter through Docusign.

My name has changed due to a life event. What is the process to change my name so that my personnel file and other documents reflect my new name?
Complete the Change/Correction of General Information form and submit the signed original to the Payroll Services Department.
