• OUR MISSION
    The mission of 糖心视频's Federal Programs Department is to make sure that each district activity supported through special revenue meets the intent of the funding source and is in full compliance with all applicable policies and regulations. 

    Federal Funding
    You may have heard that public school districts receive federal funding.  We are happy to report that 糖心视频 students and staff benefit significantly from federal funding received every school year.  Federal, state and other sources continuously work together to provide support for our students and staff with the goal of college and career readiness for every Galena Park I.S.D. student. All schools in 糖心视频 qualify as a Title I campus.

    Parents' Right to Know

    Teacher and Paraprofessional Qualifications: 

    As the parent of a student at a Title I campus, you have the right to request the following information about each of your child's classroom teachers:

    • Whether the teacher meets the federal qualifications and state certification criteria for grades/subjects taught.
    • Whether the teacher is teaching under emergency or probationary status because of special circumstances.
    • The teacher's college major, level of degree, and field of the certificate/degree.
    • The qualifications of any paraprofessional providing services to your child.

    Non-Highly Qualified Teachers:

    As a parent, you have the right to know if your child has been assigned or has been taught for four or more consecutive weeks by a teacher who does not meet the Federal requiremtns of highly qualified people.
